An Update from Alain Bédard Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As a corporation spanning North America with deep ties to our local communities, our utmost priority is the health and wellbeing of our customers, our workforce and the countless cities and towns in which we live and work. While we continue to closely monitor the evolving Coronavirus pandemic, we have taken all possible precautions to limit the spread and to ensure business continuity. Through strong communication and by leveraging our integrated and far-reaching network, TFI International has remained fully-operational with uninterrupted service.

Our leadership team has implemented three measures to mitigate the impact of Coronavirus-related volume moderation on the Company and its valued workforce:

  • All executives have agreed to an immediate salary reduction;
  • As needed throughout our North American operations, our employees will be working four-day weeks at 85% of their previous salary, reflecting a modest increase in salary-per-day;
  • Additional financial assistance measures for employees.

We expect the sum of these measures to represent approximately CAD $10 million of support for our people.

I express my deep gratitude for the professionalism and remarkable efforts of the women and men of TFI who take tremendous pride in what they do, and have worked tirelessly through these challenging times to assist our customers and all those in need.
